An AU for the bdpt been staring at the same thing for over a month now
It was a dark foggy night; men seemed to sneaking along the walls as they headed in the direction of a small almost invisible door. It led to a room that seemed as dark as the land outside. Inside smoke hung over the small gathering, Leather-bound books covered every surface bookcases stretched from floor to ceiling, precious and ancient illuminated manuscripts were open to viewing.
"I only know one person I would trust to complete this mission." A voice spoke out of the dark.
"We know who you would trust to do this old man, but he is currently imprisoned in a tin suit; if you have forgotten."
"Then we will release him. If the timeline had not already been tampered with he would have been free two annuals ago, and helped stop the Sorceress."
Do you have an idea about who the two voices are? Are they men? Or one woman and one man?
I only ask because because at this point, you may want to shed a little light on who these people are. You don't have to give everything away, but just enough to introduce us to the voices.
We already know one is an 'old man' but exactly how old is he?
Or you may want to give a little more detail about how the timeline was tampered with or even who they may suspect did it.
the old man is the mystic man since DG wasnt around he wasnt captured sorceress didnt kill him but he knows if he sends the random resistance fighters to release cain he will die
Now, does the Mystic Man step in and get the conversation back on track? Does he tell Garrett what his mission is now? Does he tell Jeb and Garrett to release Wyatt? Or just Garrett?
Is DG dead or is she just imprisoned in the Tower? Or stuck on some island like the Queen?
Maybe now the mission isn't so much on changing the timeline or you could use a travel storm to time travel...
“It’s fine this has been hard on all of us not just you alone.”
“Gentlemen, please may we continue?” the mystic man asked “Now the reason this has taken so long, I had to be sure of all the aspects of time travel before we could do anything.”
“Time travel!” the big man from earlier exclaimed “Now I know you have gone around the bend and are sniffing vapors.”
“Lucas, my dear boy if you would be so kind as to keep your thoughts to yourself for a while I will explain.” Lucas crossed his arms glared at the mystic man and leaned against one of the bookcases. “Garrett you will put a small group together and will go release Wyatt from the suit, but be careful I think the witch knows what I am about to attempt and has doubled patrols in the area according to my inside man.”
“Inside man?” Garrett asked “Are you sure you can trust this person.”
“I would and have trusted him with my life just as I at one time did with your brother.”
So, does Jeb go with Garrett? I wouldn't be surprised if he insists on going, but it's up to you.
Do they run into Longcoats along the way or any other trouble? Trouble attaches to Garrett like ticks on a dog (and if you want to use that phrase you can). He's like the male version of DG. *gigglesnort*
This Lucas dude is interesting. You could build on him too. Background, optimist/pessimist, does he get along well with the other boys, etc.
Who is the Mystic Man's main confidant in his plan?
My cursor was mocking me too, so I closed MS Word and opened up a good old fashioned notebook. Well, it worked for me before and since I've tried to go Word only writing's been nothing but fail.
