Date: 2008-12-08 08:03 am (UTC)Was it you I was telling? Joe was RIGHT up on the speaker box in front of us. Waiting for me to beat the shit out of my camera so I could take a picture. The guy that I have been drooling over for TWENTY years laughs, winks and smiles at me. All I can do is laugh with him.
Donnie, however, comes over and poses for us (our sign said POSE 4 ME) and I nearly fall to the FLOOR! Just like I did during the Magic Summer tour when our eyes locked and BAM! I went from sprinting fan girl to, well, your ICON! Except STRAIGHT DOWN onto my knees.
Donnie makes my hands shake. I still want to jump all over Joe.. but maybe because I feel like I totally could. Donnie? If I were to ever meet him I'd probably be a blubbering idiot. lol

Date: 2008-12-08 08:23 am (UTC)Donnie came over, pointed at our sign and started posing during Click Click Click. I wanted to fall over.
Our signs were fabric. We folded them up and put them in pad wrappers and stuck them in my purse. Lol

Date: 2008-12-08 08:30 am (UTC)During the Magic Summer tour.. my parents dropped us off early in the morning at Lake Compounce (in Connecticut). It was me, my sister and two of her friends. I was 11, they were 14. My dad dropped us off early in the morning and then went to work. We waited in line while a radio station judged some signs that my sis and her friend had made (I think I donated a poster to one of the signs). We had "general admission" seats so, to get a good one, you had to be there early.
When we were let in, we were right up against the gate that let into the actual REAL seats. For the second encore (Step by Step was the first one, I think) which was Hangin' Tough, the security let a few of the lawn people go through the gate. I totally booked it. I RAN like a bat out of hell. Donnie just so happened to look over. We locked eyes. I dropped IMMEDIATELY to my knees like I had been shot in the chest. I oculdn't friggin move. I seriously could have gotten trampled if it weren't for security.
I remember the look on his face. That half-cocky grin. And when I fell, the look of.. "Oh shit!" and then a full on smile. I'm sure it happened at every concert that tour.. but crap! That day.. it happened to me! LOL :)
So, yeah. Donnie makes me into a total hormone seething fan girl. Joe.. just makes me want to rip his clothes off and lead him around my house on a leash. WHAT OF IT!?!

Date: 2008-12-08 08:32 am (UTC)I totally know that feeling I am surprised I was able to make it through BoB and Boomtown with both Donnie and Neal McDonough on there together to much hotness for the screen.
